    • Higher-Order Thinking - Are students operating at the higher levels of Bloom's Taxonomy (Analyzing, Evaluating, Creating)
    • Engaged Learning - Are students showing their "know-how" on something important and challenging, not just their knowledge.
    • Authentic Connections - Are students applying their learning to the real world, real-life issues, themes, and/or problems.
    • Technology Use - Are students using digital and/or environmental resources in a seamless fashion to promote student learning.
