Technology

Northeastern Clinton Middle School Technology:
Each student will participate in Technology in 7th and 8th
grade. The middle school technology program is geared
towards problem solving activities that promote a
cooperative learning environment for each individual
student. Basic engineering principles are emphasized
while implementing a hands on approach to the fundamentals
of technology. A vast array of skills and methods are
used: Basic problem solving, Magnetic Levitation, Sheet
metal work, Construction, Transportation systems,
Electronics, Drafting, CAD- (computer aided drafting),
Foundry, and Basic woodworking. The evaluation
emphasis will be placed on the use of class time,
attendance, ability to follow directions and the ability to
help and work with others.
"Each activity will not require mastery of each, but will
require each individual to demonstrate the ability to use
the equipment safely." |
