Course Description: Following New York State standards students will learn how to read, write, listen, and speak effectively. The course will focus on reinforcement and building upon previously learned skills, including but not excluded to essay writing, reading for comprehension, and grammar skills. Students will also be focusing on an increased sophistication in the students reading and writing skills. The students will continue work with the "100 Book Challenge" that they were exposed to in sixth grade.
