COURSE II
(GEOMETRY)
A branch of mathematics that deals with the measurement, properties, and relationships of points, lines, angles, surfaces, and solids.
Grading Policy:
Tests 40%
Quizzes 25%
Homework/ class work 15%
T.E. 20%
Classroom Policy:
1.) Be on time of class. The definition of on time - in the classroom at or before the bell rings. If you are late sign in, write your name, pass or tardy, and initial it. If you have a pass place it in the holder by the door. 3 late without a pass is 1 ASD. Remember if you miss more than 12 minutes of class it is considered an absent- school policy.
2.) Respect everyone in the class. We all need to pass the class and the regents exam to graduate. I will not tolerated disrespect towards me or other students. If I have to ask you to leave my room it will be an automatic 1 night ASD.
3.) Homework is checked randomly. If you attempt all problems you will receive a 2 out of 2. If it is half done 1 out of 2. If it isn't done or only a few done 0/2. Homework is your practice . If you don't practice you won't be able to ask pertinent questions the next day when we go over it.
4.) If you are absent it is up to you to come to me and get the missed assignments. All quizzes will be taken upon your return. Tests are announced at least 3-4 days in advance. I always review the day before a test. If you miss the review you are still required to take the test.
