to the Mooers Elementary
Fourth
Grade
1. Students will follow
classroom rules and procedures.
Homework Planners:
Will be completed by student everyday
Signed by teacher daily
Signed by parent daily
Homework will be completed every night.
Consequences Include – No recess, calling home, meeting with
parents.
At the end of the day students will be given a study hall and are expected to
use their time wisely. Most students will complete their homework during this
time. This is also a great chance to get extra help from their teacher.
Please check homework planners each night for assignments and announcements.
Students have a Mooers Elementary Folder, they have been instructed to always
take their folder home and share their work with you.
The students will be required to read every night for 20 minutes. They need
to have their reading log completed and signed each night by a parent.
Scholastic Book Orders – these will be sent home periodically. Checks are
required for payment, make checks out to: Scholastics.
We are trying to prepare students, for the middle school, working to instill
organizational skills and build responsibility. For some students this comes
quickly, but for others it takes time. Please be patient and help your child
whenever you can.
All 4th graders are to
report to the cafeteria in the morning including students who do not ride the
buses. Teachers will pick up their class at 8:15. Dismissal is at 2:35, we
will be instructing until that time, please do not pick your child up
earlier.
