For Spanish class you will need to bring to class every day:

ü      A pen or pencil - Most colors are OK except for red, bright orange and yellow, gold and silver.  Ask if you’re not sure.

ü      your Spanish Book

ü      a folder

Along with following the rules lined out in our school agenda there are some others that apply to Spanish class:

Ø      Arrive to class on time.  ASD will be assigned for every three late arrivals without a valid pass.  Students coming up from the high school will be allowed one minute extra.  Students coming from Art and Technology do not get the extra minute.

Ø      Be prepared for class.  ASD will be assigned for every three times a student is unprepared for class.  Unprepared for class is not having your book, folder or something to write with.

Ø      Raise your hand to talk.  Don’t interrupt when someone is talking, especially me!  I will call on you eventually if you raise your hand.

Ø      Do not throw things.  Except the Koosh.  Gym class is for shooting baskets, not Spanish!  If someone needs to borrow something, they can get up to get it from you.

Ø      Keep the desks clean.  Paper is for writing on, not the desks.

Ø      Do not do other work in this class.  If I find you working on another subject I will take it.  No, you will not get it back.

Ø      No copying.  If I find you copying Spanish, all parties involved will get a zero for the assignment.  If it is for another class, all papers will be taken and given to the teacher.

Ø      Do not lean back in the chairs.  It is dangerous to both you and the chair.

Ø      Be respectful and appropriate.  To me and to eachother.

Ø      IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR MAKING UP MISSED NOTES AND ASSIGNMENTS.  This is as easy as asking me: “What did I miss?” or getting the assignment and/or notes from the website.   I will not track you down.  You will receive a zero for work not made up from absences.

Failure to follow these rules may result in ASD, a parent conference or removal from class.
