Classroom Rules

1.   Be in your assigned seat when the bell rings.

2.   Bring all books, materials, and assignments to class.

3.   Raise your hand for permission to speak.

4.   No cursing or teasing.

5.   Follow directions the first time they are given.

Classroom Procedures

1.    Students will perform BELLWORK immediately after entering the classroom.

2.    Students will request permission from the teacher if it is an emergency to use the restroom and will sign out and carry the restroom pass.

3.    Students will remain seated in the classroom for the entire period until the teacher dismisses class (NOT THE BELL).

4.    Students will remain seated during class time unless given permission by the teacher (i.e. group work, partner work etc.)

5.    Students will raise their hand to ask permission for tasks they wish to perform in class (i.e. answer/ask questions, use resource center, asking for help etc.)

6.    If tardy, students will come to class with a pass explaining why they were late.  Tardiness does not allow students to disrupt class or does it excuse students from classwork and/or homework.

7.    Students will respect each other in class.
