Points Parents/Guardians should be aware of...                                                         

• ATTENDANCE/ABSENCES         

    If your child is tardy or absent from school, please notify the school @ 297-7211 between 7:30-9:00 a.m.  If the school does not receive a note in advance or a call from you, the school will contact a parent/guardian to account for the whereabouts of each child. This communication assures school officials and parents that all children are safe and accounted for every school day.

    Upon return to school it is important that students provide a written excuse including the following information:                                                                 

• Student’s name                                   

• The dates your child was absent 

• The reason your child was absent                                                

• Signature of parent or guardian

• CONTACT INFORMATION                          

    The principal and/or the school nurse must be able to contact the student’s parents should an accident or illness occur in school. Therefore, it is imperative that parents ensure the school always has a current home telephone number and the name and telephone number of a relative, friend, or neighbor who lives nearby and can pick up your child and assume responsibility for the child in case of illness or emergency. PLEASE NOTIFY THE SCHOOL IMMEDIATELY OF ANY CHANGES IN THIS INFORMATION.
