A. Unit Exams and Quizzes (40-45%). If absent on the exam/quiz day, a student will have 3 school days to make-up the exam or receive no credit thereafter.

B. Unit Projects/Article summaries and/or health skills (20-25%). Unless absent, projects and papers will be deducted 20 points for each school day that they are late.

C. Journal Checks (10%). Journals/notebooks are due on exam days. Since journals are completed in class, 50 points will be deducted for school day late.

D. Homework assignments (25%). Homework assignments are due at the beginning of class, and are NOT accepted late. In the event that a student is absent, the assignment is due the next school day.

E. Final Exam (20% of final class grade).
